The Maggie Experience

It still takes a village. We help organisations build one.

A half-day workshop with Maggie, ParenTalk's Wellbeing Ambassador, to begin building a more connected and supportive workplace for working parents.

Through gentle interaction with Maggie, time outdoors and facilitated conversation with the ParenTalk team, employees have an opportunity to pause, connect and explore the support available to them.

Together, we help your organisation take the first steps towards creating its own village, shaped around your people, your culture and the parenting challenges your employees face.

Meet Maggie

Maggie is our 20 year-old Irish Sport Horse and ParenTalk Wellbeing Ambassador.

She brings a memorable presence to an experience designed to open conversations about connection, everyday pressures and asking for support.

Working parents often spend their days looking after everyone else. The Maggie Experience makes space for them, too.

Maggie creates the opening. ParenTalk provides the specialist support that follows.

A half day to pause connect and begin a conversation

The Maggie Experience brings together time with Maggie and facilitated discussion about the realities of combining work and family life.

Our approach follows four simple steps:

  1. Pause

Step away from daily demands and take a little time to reflect.

  2. Connect

Share a calm moment with Maggie and connect with colleagues.

  3. Talk

Join a conversation facilitated by ParenTalk about working parenthood, support and the value of a village.

  4. Access Support

Discover clear routes to confidential, specialist parenting support.

Your people
Your culture
Your own village

Together, we can build a village that belongs to your organisation, with the right support at the right time.

Every organisation's village will look different.

For some, the starting point is helping working parents connect with one another. For others, it is making specialist support easier to find, opening conversations about parenting pressures or developing an internal parent community.

ParenTalk works with you to understand what your employees need and shape a practical approach around those needs.

The Maggie Experience can become the opening chapter of a wider programme, bringing together:

  • Assessment of employee and organisational needs.
  • Confidential one-to-one parenting consultations.
  • Drop-In Clinics.
  • Expert-led webinars with opportunities for questions.
  • Access to the ParenTalk Digital Resources Hub.
  • Support to develop an internal parent community.

What this helps your organisation create

  • Connection

Opportunities for working parents to feel understood and less alone.

  • Conversation

A welcoming starting point for discussing the challenges of combining work and family life.

  • Visible Support

A tangible way to show employees that their parenting responsibilities matter.

  • Clear next steps

Routes to specialist help for everyday and more complex parenting concerns, from early childhood through to the teenage years.
